{"id":125,"date":"2010-01-20T13:15:35","date_gmt":"2010-01-20T00:15:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/washiparagone.blogtown.co.nz\/?p=125"},"modified":"2010-01-25T20:35:26","modified_gmt":"2010-01-25T07:35:26","slug":"recycled-egg-version-ii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/washiparagone.blogtown.co.nz\/?p=125","title":{"rendered":"RECYCLED EGG  Version II"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lately Ive been busy over the last week or so finishing my recycled egg sculpture.\u00a0 When I did it the first time for the school exhibition it wasn\u2019t finished, the part that was on the floor had no pieces of computer motherboards on it.\u00a0 Well I have spent the last few weeks getting some more computers from the recycling man, taking all the motherboards out of their cases and stripping them down, then cutting them up into squares with my tile cutter.\u00a0 I have pasted them on and now the whole egg is covered.\u00a0 Im coating over the lot with polyurethane to give it a shine and help keep the pieces melded together.\u00a0 Its looking really good now.\u00a0 I learnt a lot about working with polyurethane and computer parts while I was doing this one.<\/p>\n<div>\n<dl>\n<dt><a href=\"..\/files\/2010\/01\/2009.4-Motherbored.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Motherbored Version I\" src=\"..\/files\/2010\/01\/2009.4-Motherbored-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dd>Motherbored Version I<\/dd>\n<dd>\n<div>\n<dl>\n<dt><a href=\"..\/files\/2010\/01\/2009.4-Motherbored-close-up.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Motherbored Version I- close up\" src=\"..\/files\/2010\/01\/2009.4-Motherbored-close-up-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dd>Motherbored Version I &#8211; close up<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p>On Saturday Im going to enter it into the local A &amp; P show.\u00a0 That should be a real giggle.\u00a0 They have a craft and hobby section along with the dahlia, preserves, cakes, sewing, embroidery etc sections.\u00a0 In the craft and hobby section is a class called \u201ca recycled article\u201d\u00a0 I thought it would be fun to put a big spacey looking egg shape in the same room with the pickles and jams etc\u2026. should look a hoot.\u00a0 Rotflmao.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It costs a whole 50c to enter and If I win I get $5.00 prize money\u00a0\u00a0 hahhahaha.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0   That should be\u00a0 a blast.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I will post a photo of my new rennovated egg and let you all know if I get anywhere at the A &amp;
